1 · Switch The Isle to EVRIMA

When you first install The Isle, Steam gives you Legacy, the old version. We run EVRIMA, so switch once — if you already have, skip this step.

2 · Install the Blood Island launcher (Windows)

The launcher is our own program: it starts the game, installs the new dinosaurs and draws the HUD over the game.

Done right, you see: the Blood Island window with its menu down the left — Play, Shop, Auctions … Settings. For Thai, press ไทย at the very bottom of the menu.

• Keep the launcher open while you play (minimised is fine) — close its window and the HUD goes with it
• Updates: when there is a new version, a เปลี่ยนเป็นเวอร์ชัน … (Switch to …) button appears at the top and Join stays disabled until you switch. Press it, wait for the download, then follow the installer that opens — your account link and settings are kept
• Why a .zip? Chrome blocks unsigned .exe downloads. The zip changes nothing inside; it just lets the browser hand it over
• No need to uninstall an old version first; install over the top

3 · Link your account (once)

The HUD, the map, friends, BP, the shop and storage all need to know which dinosaur is yours. The one Approve in this step is the sign-up and the verification together — no SteamID to type and no need to be in game.

Done right, you see: your player name and BP balance in the launcher's left-hand menu. That means the server knows you — on to step 4.

4 · The new dinosaurs — Giga / Spino / Anky

The new dinosaurs are the mod team's work and come as a separate program, the Dino Launcher, which builds a modded copy of the game (about 12 GB). You start it from our launcher.

Done right, you see: the line on the Play page reads ไดโนใหม่พร้อมเล่น — the new dinosaurs are ready and Join will start the modded game.

• You will have two icons — our “Blood Island HUD” and the mod team's “BloodIslandDinoLauncher” (Dino Launcher 0.3.5). That is right; they are two programs
• The 12 GB Install button belongs to the mod team's program; ours cannot press it for you

5 · Join the server

Done right, you see: the status bar top left (health, stamina, hunger, thirst, growth) and the minimap top right · the search is how you get in every time, because the modded game cannot be handed a server address

• Set the game to Borderless in its video settings — the HUD cannot draw over true fullscreen, and it always sits on Windows' main screen, so play there
• The launcher's คัดลอกที่อยู่เซิร์ฟเวอร์ (copy address) button gives IP:port, which is for Direct Connect only, not for the search box

No launcher? You can play the Steam game as it is, but without the new dinosaurs, the HUD or the in-game map, and with no playtime BP until your account is linked — use the Server Browser as above, or Direct Connect to this address

6 · The HUD and its keys

The HUD appears on its own once three things are true: the launcher is open, your account is linked, and you are spawned on the map. It leaves about 15 seconds after you quit.

• Top left — the status bar: your dinosaur's name (gold, with a PRIME badge, once it is a Prime Elder) and Health · Stamina · Hunger · Thirst · Growth as percentages
• Top right — the minimap: north is always up; you are the red navigation arrow in the middle, pointing the way you are headed, friends are yellow dots, and AI animals, zones and your pins are drawn too. The player count is underneath
• If the HUD dims and says เชื่อมต่อไม่ได้ — ข้อมูลค้าง (no connection, data is stale), the numbers are old; give it a moment to reconnect

• One window at a time; pressing another of F5, F8 or F9 swaps to it
• F5, F7, F8 and F9 belong to the launcher for as long as it is open; the game never receives them. If you bound anything in game to F5–F9, move it
• The Ctrl keys only work while their window is open · a bare number always belongs to the game · the HUD never takes the mouse except in F7 mode, so every click is the game's
• The HUD's windows are an overlay and do not pause anything — your dinosaur can still be bitten while you read

7 · The full map (F5)

• A grid of A–T across and 1–20 down; the top line tells you your square, e.g. “คุณอยู่ช่อง K12” — handy for telling people where you are. 54 place names are marked
• While the map is open the status bar and minimap are hidden; F5 again closes it
• Q zooms in · E zooms out
• Ctrl+P drops a pin where you stand (up to 12; the oldest goes after that) · Ctrl+Backspace removes the newest · pins survive between sessions, and the minimap shows how far each is

Layers — with the map open, Ctrl and a number turns one on or off (the numbers are along the bottom of the map). All start on, and all come back on when you restart the launcher.

Ctrl+1 to Ctrl+6 switch the same layers on the minimap too · most AI animals are drawn as that animal · the website has a live map as well

8 · Prime

• Complete 5 of the 10 conditions before you reach 75% growth — nothing more counts from 75%
• Small species (Hypsilophodon, Troodon, Beipiaosaurus, Dryosaurus, Deinosuchus) need only 4, and get condition 10 automatically, which counts towards those 4 — so 3 more to earn
• Watch it on F8: ✓ green = done · ✗ red = lost for this life · · = being watched, it ticks itself · ? = the game does not report it; an admin confirms it

• Conditions 2, 4 and 9 need an admin — when you have done one, open a ticket on Discord with your in-game name; once confirmed, F8 says “แอดมินยืนยันให้แล้ว”
• The list starts again with a new life (death or entomb) or a change of species, because Prime counts per life
• Once you have enough, the system tells the game, and the game confirms Prime Elder at 75% growth — the HUD shows a PRIME ELDER banner once, and your name turns gold in the status bar

9 · Sanctuaries and species limits

A Sanctuary is a green area on the map, for passing through rather than resting in. A dinosaur over 40% growth can stay at most three minutes, and the server handles it with no admin involved · at 40% or less you can stay as long as you like.

• Leave and the clock clears at once — nothing builds up, there is no cooldown, and walking back in starts from zero
• The HUD clock turns red in the last 10 seconds of each minute (you need the launcher to see it; the in-game notices reach everybody)
• VIP is not exempt
• Cannot pick the dinosaur you wanted? Some species have a cap on the island; a full one leaves the spawn menu and comes back within about a minute of somebody leaving it. No queue, no reserving, and nobody is kicked · see which are full on the species page

10 · Friends and warping

• Before accepting you see only each other's name and whether they are online · after, you see name, species, growth and position on the HUD and the website map
• Either side can end it at any time and the position disappears at once · never use it to hunt someone who has not agreed (rule 7)
• Warp to a friend: press วาร์ปไปหา on the Friends page — you must be friends, on the same species, both at 40% growth or less, and both in game · they get 60 seconds to press Ctrl+Y to accept or Ctrl+N to decline on their HUD
• Warping has a 15-minute cooldown — shorter with VIP

11 · BP, the shop, auctions and VIP

BP is the server's currency, for the shop, dinosaur auctions and storage slots · it cannot be sent between players.

• Shop — the launcher's ร้านค้า or the website's shop → Buy and confirm · some items have a daily limit that resets at midnight Thai time (VIP gets more)
• Carcasses need you in game with hunger under 30% when you buy · boosts need you in game and work at once · Discord roles arrive by themselves · anything that cannot be delivered is refunded automatically; follow it in the wallet
• Auctions — bidding: the launcher's ประมูล or the auctions page → enter an amount → Bid · the first bid must be at least the start price, later ones at least 5% over the top bid · your BP is held and comes back if you are outbid · a bid in the last 5 minutes pushes the end 5 minutes on · you need a free storage slot, because the winner's dinosaur goes into storage
• Auctions — selling: in storage, open ลงประมูลไดโนตัวนี้ (auction this one) → set a start price and length (1, 6, 24 or 72 hours) → ลงประมูล · the seller gets the winning price less 5% · with no bids it comes back to your storage · you can cancel only while nobody has bid
• VIP — paid 30 days at a time, never charged automatically: more storage slots, cheaper slot rent, shorter restore and warp cooldowns, monthly BP, a bigger shop allowance and a Discord role · every tier's price and perks are on the support page

12 · Dino storage

Park the dinosaur you are playing and bring it back later with its growth intact · from the launcher's คลังไดโนเสาร์ (Dino storage), the website's storage page, or F9 → Ctrl+2 in game.

Slots

• 1 slot free · VIP gives 4, 6, 8, 11 or 15 by tier · 20 at the most, all told
• Rent an extra slot for 30 days at 2,000 BP (less with VIP) — the เช่าช่องเพิ่ม button in storage or the shop
• Renew with ต่ออายุ +30 วัน, only before it runs out; after that, rent a new one · Discord sends you a reminder 3 days before (if your DMs are open)
• Locked dinosaurs — when you have fewer slots (a rental ran out or VIP ended), the most recently stored ones past your capacity are locked: they cannot be played or auctioned, but they are not deleted, and they unlock once there is room
• Dinosaurs you have up for auction, and auctions you are winning, use slots too · the bin icon deletes for good; there is no undo

14 · Troubleshooting

Whatever is wrong, press “ตรวจสอบปัญหา” (Run a check) in Settings first, then คัดลอก (Copy) and send it to the team. It says whether you are linked, whether the mods are complete and which game Join would start. It holds no password or launcher code, but it does include your SteamID and folder names on your PC.

• Cannot find the server / Results: 0 — set Session Filter to Unofficial · check the game is on EVRIMA (step 1) · search by name, not IP
• 🚀 เข้าเล่นเลย cannot be pressed — if there is a เปลี่ยนเป็นเวอร์ชัน … button at the top, update first (step 2) · if not, the server may be down: see status
• “Cannot start the modded game — no The Isle folder found” — install The Isle in Steam; if it is installed, Steam → right-click The Isle → Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files
• Dropped right after joining, “Client Disconnected” — usually your mod files and the server's differ. Open the Dino Launcher, press Install/Update until it finishes, and join again · still dropping? Tell the team, with the “ตรวจสอบปัญหา” text
• No new dinosaurs to pick — you started the game from Steam. Start it with 🚀 เข้าเล่นเลย, and check the status line says “ไดโนใหม่พร้อมเล่น” (step 4)
• No HUD — check in order: is the launcher still open · are your name and BP in its left menu (if not, do step 3) · in Settings, is เปิด HUD ทับเกมอัตโนมัติเมื่อเข้าเกม (show automatically) ticked — the “toggle the HUD” button unticks it · are you spawned on the map yet · is the game Borderless and on your main screen
• The HUD dims or the numbers stop — “เชื่อมต่อไม่ได้ — ข้อมูลค้าง” means it cannot reach us for now; wait a moment, and if it lasts, check status
• F5, F8 or F9 does nothing — the HUD has to be showing (you must be in game), or another program has taken the key; close it
• Ctrl and a number does not change the layer — the F5 map has to be open · the same goes for Ctrl+P and Ctrl+Backspace
• Chrome says “Suspicious download blocked” — the button here already gives a .zip; if you still see it, you used an old .exe link from somewhere else. Use the button in step 2
• Food stuck in your mouth, cannot bite or eat — type !food in any chat channel, or press F9 → Ctrl+3 (section 6); the food comes free, then bite again · every 30 seconds, and you are not moved
• Linking problems — see “Stuck?” under step 3
