How auctions work
- Only a dinosaur already in your storage can be auctioned. Species, growth and mutations are what the server reported when it was stored
- While it is up, the dinosaur is locked in storage: it cannot die, be played or be listed twice
- Your bid is held while you lead, and returned in full the moment someone outbids you
- Each bid must beat the last by at least 5% · a bid in the final five minutes extends the auction by five
- When it ends, the dinosaur goes straight into the winner’s storage and the seller is paid (less a 5% fee), no waiting for the team · with no bids, it goes back to the seller’s storage
- The winner presses Play it while in game and carries on with that dinosaur
